£7 Whittle Dene and Lockwood Beck coarse fishing permit
£5 Credit cruncher Whittle Dene and Lockwood Beck coarse fishing permit (from 2.00pm)

£10 Fontburn and Derwent coarse fishing permit

£12 Pike permit, Scaling only

 

Any number of children aged under 17 years can fish for free with a family permit. Up to two children under 17 can fish free when one parent/guardian buys a standard day permit.

T&C's apply to family and couples permit - cohabiting only, proof may be required i.e. a utility bill.

Credit cruncher permits are not available from November to start of season 2020. 

 

Opening dates and times

Trout fishing season opens Saturday 9 March 2019

Coarse fisheries open all year round, dawn until dusk

Wild brown trout fishing opens Friday 22 March 2019 to Monday 30 September 2019. 


All visitor centres and fishing lodges are open from 8.00am weekdays, 7.00am weekends and bank holidays. Kielder Waterside shop opens at 6.00am. Tower Knowe Visitor Centre opens at 10.00am from April to October.

From 1 November opening times are 9.00am to 4.00pm at all visitor centres and fishing lodges until the season end dates shown on each fisheries page.

 

Day permits can be purchased from our visitor centres or fishing lodges on the day, or in advance online at www.fishpal.com or by contacting the visitor centres direct.

Full day - hire from 8.30am to 8.00pm.  Half day - hire from 8.30am to 2.00pm or 2.30pm up to 8.00pm.  Depending on sunset times.
